A solution contain 100g of barium chloride in 400g of water calculate the concentration in term mass by mass percentage of the solution

mass of barium chloride (solute) = 100g
mass of water (solvent) = 400g
mass of solution=100+400=500g

mass \: by \: mass \: \% = \frac{mass \: of \: solute}{mass \: of \: solution} \times 100
=
 \frac{100}{500} \times 100 \\ = 20\%
