A solution contain 30 g of sugar dissolved in 350g of water.Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution

Mass of solute(sugar)=30g
Mass of solvent(water)=350g
therefore, Mass of solution=Mass of solute + Mass of solvent
= 30g + 350g
= 380g
Mass percentage of solution= Mass of solute/Mass of solution ×100
= 30/380×100
= 7.8947368421%
