To calculate the concentration of water,
>The mass percentage of solution = (Mass of solute/ Mass of solution) X 100
>Mass of solution = mass of solvent + mass of solute
The mass of solute = 30g sugar
The mass of solvent = 370g water
From the formula,
mass of sugar+ mass of water= 30g + 370g = 400g
The mass percentage of the solution is equivalent to (30/400) x 100 = 7.5%
