Mass of solute = 50g
mass of solvent = 350g
mass of solution = 50 + 350 = 400g
mass by mass% = mass of solute / mass of solution
mass by mass = 50/400 * 100
= 100/8
 = 12.5%
mass by mass % = 12.5%
