A solution contains 100 g of sugar in 500 g of water. Find the mass by mass % of the solution.

Mass of sugar= 100g

Mass of water=500g

Mass of solution=mass of solute + mass of solvent =100+500g=600g

Mass percentage of solution

=Mass of sugar/ Mass of solution×100
