mass percent =( mass of solute / mass of solution ) × 100 percent
mass of solute (NaCl) is 110gm and
mass of solution is mass of solute + mass of solvent
mass of solution = 440gm + 110gm = 550gm.

Mass percent = (110/550) × 100
= 20 percentage .
Hence the concentration of mass by mass percent is 20 percent .
hope this helps you :)

Heya

Mass of solute = 110 g (NaCl)

Mass of solvent = 440 g (water)

Mass of sol. = mass of solute + solvent = 110 + 440 = 550 g

Concentration of the soln. = (Mass of solute/ mass of soln.) 100

= (110/550) 100 = 20 %
