A solution contains 20 gm of common salt in 160 gm of water. Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution​

Mass % of solute = Mass of solute/ Mass of solution× 100

= 20 /( 160 +20)× 100

= 20/180× 100

= 1/9× 100

= 100/9 % (Ans.)
