So according to condition

Half of the number is X/2

One third of the number is X/3

One sixth of the number is X/6

Average of all three numbers will be

=> (X/2+ X/3+ X/6)/3 = X/3

And number is 6 more than the average, so

=> X= 6+X/3

=> 2X/3 = 6

=> X= 9

Hence the number is 9
