Answer:

Mass of solution = mass ofsolute+ mass of solvent

40g+320g

360g

Mass percentage of solution =mass ofsolute/ mass of solution ×100

40/360÷100

11.1%

Answer:

HEY MATE ,

solution :

= Mass of solute  ( salt ) = 40 g

= Mass of Solvent  ( water )  = 320 g

= we know ,

= Mass of solution = Mass of solute + Mass of solvent

= 40 g + 320 g

= 360 g

= Mass percentage of solution

= Mass of solute / Mass of solution  X 100   ( / This is divided by )

= 40 / 360 X 100 = 11.1 percent
