A solution contains 40g of common salt in 240g of water .Calculate the concentrations in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution

CONCENTRATION OF SOLUTION=MASS OF SOLUTE/MASS OF SOLUTION X 100

SOLUTION=240g+40g

=280

=40/280x 100

=14.28 percentage
