Mass of solution:-
Mass of Solute + Mass of solvent
= (40+360)g
= 400g
Hence,total mass of the solution is 400g.
Now--
Concentration of a solution:-
Mass of solute/Mass of solution × 100
=>40/400×100
=>40/4
=>10%
Thus, concentration of the solution is 10%.(w/w)
