SOLUTION:

Mass of Solute = 50g

Mass of Solvent (water) = 100g (litre)

We Know,

Mass of Solution = Mass of solute + Mass of

solvent

= 50g + 100g

= 150g

Mass percentage of solution

Mass of solute

= ----------------------------- × 100

Mass of solution

50

= ------- × 100

100

= 50%
