A solution contains 50g of common salt in 340g of water. Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution

concentration of solution=mass of solute/mass of solution ×100
mass of common salt (solute)=50g
mass of water=340g
mass solution =50+340=390g
concentration of solution=50/390×100
=12.820%
