A solution contains 50g of sugar in 350g of water. Calculate the concentration of solution in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution.

Mass of solute=50 g
Mass of solvent=350 g
Mass of solution=mass of solute +mass of solvent
                               50 g + 350 g
                               400 g
Mass percentage of solution=
(Mass of solute ÷ Mass of solution)×100
(50÷ 400)×100=
