Mass of solute =10g

Mass of solution =Mass of solute+Mass of solvent

                             =10 g+100 g

                              =110 g

Mass % =  \frac{Mass \: of \: solute \:  \times 100}{Mass of solution}

=  \frac{10 \times 100}{110}

Mass of solute =50g

Mass of solution =Mass of solute+Mass of solvent

50 + 90 = 140

mass =\% =  \frac{mass  \: of \: solute \: 140}{mass \: of \: solution}

 \frac{50 \times 90}{140}  = 32
