A solution contains 60 g of common salt in 540 g of water. Find the concentration in terms of mass by
mass percentage of the solution.

formula= mass of solute / mass of solution x100

solute ( salt)= 60g

solution (salt+water)=60g+540g =600g

= 60/600x100

= 1%
