A solution contains 60 gram of common salt in240 gram of water. Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of solution.

Answer: mass of common salt= 60g

mass of water= 240g

mass of solution =300 g

mass%= mass of solute/mass of solution *100

=(60/300) *100

=20%
