a solution contains 60 gram of NaCl in 400g of water calculate the concentration in term of mass by mass% of the solution

Concentration of Sodium Chloride is 13.04%

mass of solute = 60g
mass of solvent = 400+60 = 460g

conc. of solution = mass of solute/ mass of solvent × 100
= 60/460 ×100 = 30/23% = 1.3% approx...
