Given :

The mass of solute (sugar) = 60 g

Mass of solvent (water) = 300 g

To Find :

Concentration of Solution.

Solution :

As we know that,

Mass of Solution = Mass of Solute + Mass of Solvent

\longrightarrow\sf{60+300}

\longrightarrow\sf{360g}

Now,

\longrightarrow\sf{Concentration=\dfrac{Mass\:of\:Solute}{Mass\:of\:Solvent}\times{100}}

\longrightarrow\sf{\dfrac{60}{360}\times{100}}

\longrightarrow\sf{16.6\%}

So, The Concentration of the Solution is 16.6%.

Answer:

iven :

The mass of solute (sugar) = 60 g

Mass of solvent (water) = 300 g

To Find :

Concentration of Solution.

Solution :

As we know that,

Mass of Solution = Mass of Solute + Mass of Solvent

\longrightarrow\sf{60+300}⟶60+300

\longrightarrow\sf{360g}⟶360g

Now,

\longrightarrow\sf{Concentration=\dfrac{Mass\:of\:Solute}{Mass\:of\:Solvent}\times{100}}⟶Concentration=MassofSolventMassofSolute×100

\longrightarrow\sf{\dfrac{60}{360}\times{100}}⟶36060×100

\longrightarrow\sf{16.6\%}⟶16.6%

So, The Concentration of the Solution is 16.6%.
