A solution contains 80 g of solute in 400g of water. Find its solubility.
Mention two ways by which the solubility is increased.

Mass of solute = 80 g

Mass of solvent = 400 g

Mass of sollution = solute + solvent = 400 + 80 = 480g

solubility = mass of solute/mass of sollution *100

= (80/480)*100 = 16.67

  • Increasing amount of solvent
