A solution contains 80g of common salt in 500g of water. Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of solution

solute is 80g

solvent is 500g

concentration is equal to solute /solvent multiplied by 100

let concentration be x

x = 80 \div 500 \times 100

x = 80 \div 5 = 16

16% is the answer .
