Solution: -

》solute = urea = 5g

》solution = solute + solvent

  • solution = urea + water
  • solution = 5g +95g
  • solution = 100grams.

》mass% = ( \dfrac{mass\;of\;solute}{mass\;of\;solution})×100

》mass%= ( \dfrac{5g}{100g})×100

mass% = 5%

so, mass percent of urea in the solution is 5%
