MASS OF SOLVENT = 250

MASS OF SOLUTION = 250+40

==> 290


MASS PERCENTAGE OF SOLUTE

==> MASS OF SOLUTE / MASS OF SOLUTION * 100

==> 40/290 * 100

==> 13.79 %
