A solution is Made by dissolving 40g sodium chloride in 250 gm or water calculate the concentration of the solution in mass percentage

Given ,

mass of solute = 40gm

mass of solvent = 250gm

total mass of soln = ( 40 +250 )

= 290gm

= mass of solute ×100

mass of solution

= 40/290 ×100

=13.7%
