substance A to 18 g of water. Calculate

Explanation:

Concentration of solute(mass by mass percent)=

mass of solution= (mass of solute + mass of solvent)

= ( 2 + 18 ) g

= 20 g

=

 \frac{mass \: of \: solute}{mass \: of \: solution}  \times 100

 =  \frac{2}{20}  \times 100 \\

= 10 g
