. A solution is prepared by adding 40 g of sugar in 100 g of water. Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of solution. (the one who answers first AND CORRECT WILL GET BRAINLIEST)

Mass of the solute= 40 g

Mass of the solution= 100g+ 40 g

= 140g

Therefore mass by mass percentage of the solution= mass of the solute/mass of the solution *100

 \frac{40}{140}  \times 100\% = 28\%
