Answer:

mass of solute(naoh)=5g

mass of solvent (water)=25g

mass%=?

mass%=mass of solute/mass of solvent ×100

mass of solution=mass of solute + mass of solvent

mass of solution =5g+25g=30g

m%=5g/30×100=16.67%

molality=?

molality=no.of moles of solute /mass of solvent

moles(n)=5/40=0.125g

molality (M)=0.125/25×1000=5mol/gm
