Answer:

Moles of methyl alcohol (nA) = 60/32

= 1.875

moles of water (nB) = 120/18

=6.667

So.....

mole fraction of methyl alcohol

= nA/nA+nB.....

= 1.875 / 1.875 + 6.667

= 1.875 / 8.542 = 0.22....

✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈« Moles of methyl alcohol (nA) = 60/32  = 1.875  moles of water (nB) = 120/18  =6.667  mole fraction of methyl alcohol will be :  = nA/nA+nB  = 1.875 / 1.875 + 6.667  = 1.875 / 8.542 = 0.22 »—————————–✄
