A solution is prepared by dissolving 1.0g of NaOH in water to get 250ml of solution.Calculate its molalrity.​

Explanation:

Molarity= No of moles of solute / Volume of Solution in litres

No.of moles = Mass of Solute / Molar Mass

= 1 / NaoH ( Na = 23) , ( O=16) , (H=1)

= 1/ 23+16+1 = 1/ 40

Volume = 250/1000 = 0.4

= 1/40 * 0.4

Molarity = 0.1 M
