A solution is prepared by dissolving 25g of sugar in 175g of water. Calculate the concentration of sugar solution

given, mass of solute = 25g

mass of solvent= 175g

so , mass of solutw = 25+175 = 200g

thus concentration of solution = (

mass of solute × 100/ mass of solution)

= 25×100/ 200

= 2500/200

=12.5%

So In 200g of water 50 gm can be dissolved but 70gm is dissolved

So only 50gm dissolves and 20gm remains

Tot mass of final solution is 250gm
