A SOLUTION IS PREPARED BY DISSOLVING 3.65 GM OF HCL IN 500 ML OF SOLUTION. CALCUATE THE NORMALITY OF THE SOLUTION AND FIND THE VOLUME OF SOLUTION REQUIRED TO PREPARE 250 ML OF 0.05 N SOLUTION

Molarity = moles of solute / V of solution in litre
             = 3.65/36.5  // 500/1000
             = 0.1 × 2
             = 0.2 M
Now  Normality = molarity×n-factor
                         = 0.2×1
                         = 0.2 N


second part

N1V1 = N2V2

0.2×V1 = 0.05 ×250

V1 = 0.05×250 / 0.2

     = 62.5 ml
