Mass of solute (glucose)=50g

Mass of solvent (water)=400g

Mass of solution = Mass of solute + Mass of solvent

=50g + 400g = 450g

Concentration of solution as mass percentage= Mass of solute * 100 /  Mass of solution

= 50*100/450 = 11.11%
