the mole of each of them
let xA = moles of water
so xA = given mass /molar mass
xA= 90/18 = 5 moles

let xB =moles of ethyl alcohol
xB = 9.20/46 = 0.2 moles
and
the xC = moles of glycerol
xC = 18.4/92 = 0.2
so the mole fraction of
glycerol = xC/xA+xB+xC
= 0.2/5+0.2+0.2
= 0.037

Answer:

.37

Explanation:

Mole of each of them

let ×A=mole of water

so ×A= Give mass/molar mass

×A= 90/18=5mole

Let ×B = Mole of ethyl alcohol

×B = 9.20/46=.2

×C= mole of glycerol

×C= 18.4/92=.2

So the mole fraction of glycerol = ×C/×A+×B+×C

=.2/5+.2+.2

=.37
