Given:-

→Volume of solute(acetone)=30ml

→Volume of solvent(water)=570ml

To find:-

→Percentage concentration of solute

in the solution.

Solution:-

Here in this problem,volume of solute and volume of solvent are given. So,firstly we shall find the total volume of the solution. It can be calculated as follows:-

Volume of solution:-

=>Volume of solute+Volume of solvent

=>(30+570)ml

=>600ml

Thus,we got volume of the solution as 600ml. Now,we can proceed to find the concentration of the solution.

Concentration of solution:-

=>Volume of solute/Volume of solution×100

=>30/600×100

=>30/6

=>5%

Thus,percentage concentration of the solute(acetone) in the solution is 5%.
