Volume of alcohol = 100 ml
Volume of water = 300 ml
Volume of solution will be = ( volume of water + volume of alcohol )
Volume of Solution = (100 + 300)ml
Volume of Solution = 400 ml
Volume percentage :- The ratio of the volume of the solute to the volume of solution expressed as percentage is called volume percentage.
- Alcohol is present in less amount so it is solute and water is solvent.
- Instead of volume we can also express concentration as mass percentage of solute.
- Molarity and Normality of solution changes with change in temperature.
