KCl + AgNO_{3} ⇒ AgCl+KNO_{3}

The white precipitates formed were of Silver Chloride (AgCl)

This type of reaction is a Double Displacement Reaction or Precipitation Reaction

KCl + AgNO3 -------> KNO3 + AgCl.

Silver Chloride - curdy white precipitate.

This reaction is an example of a Double Displacement Reaction.
