mass of NaOH = 3.5

molar mass NaOH=40 g

moles NaOH = 3.5/40

moles of NaOH =0.087 moles

volume of solution =100 cm³= 100×10^-3 dm³

volume of solution =0.1 dm³

Molarity

= moles of NaOH / Vol of soln

= 0.087 /0.1

= 0.87 mol/ dm³

Answer:

3.5g of sodium hydroxide in distilled water

making the volume up to 100cm^3.

the concentration of NaOH

=3.5÷100(1cm=1grm)×100

=3.5%

THE CONCENTRATION OF NaOH=3.5%
