The solution is HCl. Egg shells contains calcium carbonate, which on reaction with HCl liberates CO2gas which turn lime water to milky.CaCO3 + 2HCl → CaCl2 + H2O + CO2

The chemical name of egg shells is Calcium carbonate, and it reacts with Hydrochloric acid solution to produce Calcium chloride solution and release Carbon dioxide gas which turns lime water into milky.
