A solution tcontains 40g of common salt in 360g of water calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution

Solution contains 40g of common salt and 360g of water

The total mass of solution will be =40+360=400g

Mass by mass percentage is calculated by

(Mass of the solute/mass of the solution)*100

=(40/400)*100

=10%
