A solution when kept for sometime formed two layers. The solution cannot pass through filter paper. What type of solution is it ? Explain.

If their is the formation of two layers, then we can say that solution is \textbf{suspension}.

In such solutions actually the suspended particles settle down at the bottom, which leads to the formation of two different layers.

Since, it's particles size ranges from 10^-5 cm or larger makes it not pass through the filter paper.
