common salt=60g[solute]

water=360ml/g[solvent]

solution = solute+solvent

=60+360 =420g

mass by percentage :

mass of solute/ mass of solution *100

that is, 60/420*100

this implies 100/7

=14.28%

Mass of solute (salt) = 60 g
Mass of Solvent (water) = 360ml = 360 g
we know,
Mass of solution = Mass of solute + Mass of solvent
= 60 + 360 = 420 g
Mass percentage of solution = Mass of solute/mass of solution × 100
= 60/420 × 100 = 14.28571 %
