The number of manufactured vessels is 6, and the cost of each is Rs 15.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The total cost of manufacture= Rs.90

Let the number of vessels manufactured be Y.

Hence, cost of production of each vessel= Rs (2Y + 3)

According to the question,

90= Y(2Y+ 3) = 0\\2Y^{2}+3Y-90=0\\2Y^{2}+15Y+12Y-90=0\\Y(2Y+15)-6(2Y+15)=0\\(2Y+15)(Y-6)=0

Now,

2Y+15=0\\2Y=-15Y=-15/2\\Y-6 = 0\\Y=6\\Y= -15/2\, or\,Y=6

Hence, number of vessels manufactured = 6

\thereforeCost of each vessel= 2*6+3=Rs15
