Answer:

Speed= 1560m/s

Time= 2.4sec

Distance=?

Time taken by sonar waves to reach the surface of ocean = 2.4/2 = 1.2sec

So, S=D/T

1560m/s = D/1.2

= 1872m

So, after calculating we found that the depth of the sea is 1872m
