The velocity of sound in water is 1450 m/s

SOLUTION ✍️

GIVEN THAT

Frequency of the sound wave, f = 262 Hz

Velocity = 1435 m/s

We need to find the wavelength of sound in water. The relation between frequency, wavelength and the velocity is given by :

v = f × λ

λ = v/f

λ = 1435/262

λ = 5.47 m

✨So, the velocity of sound in water is 5.47 m.
