the sound which hav irregular nd non periodic vibrations r called noise....tus noise causes noise pollution which affects our ear ...tis happens because our capbility to hear(audibility) certain sound is till 20000Hz nd when a sound more than tis range or maybe loud sound also comes in our ear drum it causes damage to it like if something is stretched more it will break similarly it happens in the case of ear drum
