• Frequency is number of oscillation per unit time.

• Unit of frequency is Hertz(Hz).

• Range of frequency of sound is divide into three category.

• If range of sound frequency is below 20 Hz, it is known as infrasonic    

        sound.

• If range of sound frequency is from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz, it is known as sonic sound.

• If range of sound frequency is above 20000 Hz, it is known as ultrasonic sound.
