A sound wave has a frequency 1000Hz and wave length 34cm.How long will it take to move through 1km​

Let the wave takes x seconds.

So, 1 km = 1000 m.

And, 34 cm = 0.34 m.

Now, v = 1000 * 0.34

Or, 1000/x = 1000 * 34/100

Or, x = 100/34.

➡️ Hence, it will take 100/34 seconds.

That's it..

Speed = wavelength ×frequency

= 34/100 ×1000

=340m/s

Time =distance /speed

= 1000/340

=50/17 seconds
