wave length=40cm
we have to convert from centimetres to meter since S.I of wave length is m
wave length=0.4m
we know that speed,v of the wave =wave length×frequency
=0.4×2=0.8 m/s
the time taken by it to travel a distance,d of 1.6 km is
t=d/v
t=1.6×1000m/0.8
t =2000s
thus sound will take 2000s to travel a distance of 1.6km
