Given Frequency v=2 k hz= 2*103 hz,
Wavelength=40cm=0.40cm
Speed of sound=frequency*wavelength
That is u = v*wavelength=(2*103 Hz)*(0.40m)
=0.80*103 Hz=800m-1
Time=distance/speed
That is t= s/v
Given distance ,s=1.6 km=1.6*103m2
Therefore, time=1.6*103m/800m-1= 1600/800 seconds= 2 seconds
