Answer:

Hi friend ,

Frequency = 2KHz = 2000 Hz

Wavelength = 35 cm = 0.35 m

Speed = wavelength × frequency

Speed = 0.35m× 2000Hz

Speed = 700m/s

time = distance / velocity

Time = 1.5×1000m/ 700

Time = 15/7 s

Time = 2.1 s

Thus sound will take 2.1 s to travel a distance of 1.5 km.

speed = frequency × wavelength

v= 2*1000 × 45/100

v= 900 m/s

distance= speed × time

d= 900 × 4 = 3600 m = 3.6 kmspeed = frequency × wavelength

v= 2*1000 × 45/100

v= 900 m/s

distance= speed × time

d= 900 × 4 = 3600 m = 3.6 k
